Playstation 4 announced

Even Sony Isn’t Sure What the PlayStation 4 Will Look Like! On 20th Sony announced that they hope to ship the PS4 in time for Christmas 2013 – but didn’t specify in which countries.

What we do know is:

  • The new controller will have a touch-pad and move motion sensor built in.
  • It will be easy to share in game video
  • It won’t be compatible with any existing PS3 titles
  • It running on an AMD CPU

Microsoft Surface

Microsoft announces a new tablet computer designed to run Windows 8 when it’s released later this year.

Slightly thinner than the “new” iPad, and with a screen designed to watch widescreen movies only time will tell which product has the better following, though Microsoft have a lot of catching up to do!

Apple announce iOS v6

Apple has unveiled its latest mobile operating system, iOS6, at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference.

The operating system, which runs on its iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, will no longer include Google Maps software.

Office Starter no more…

Microsoft has stopped giving PC manufacturers a stripped-down version of the Office 2010 productivity suite to bundle with their computers.

If you use Office Starter 2010 then you can continue to use the product for the life of your PC, but your new machine will no longer come with a copy.
